Frequently asked questions
The eligibility of a plant for repowering is based on a number of criteria, including the condition of the photovoltaic modules, the age of the plant, the level of plant performance and deviations from expected production.
💡 Good to know:
Feedgy has introduced Escore+
, an innovative audit tool that evaluates the performance of a photovoltaic power plant based on field data and advanced modeling.
Escore+ measures differences in yield, simulates future losses in the current state, and projects expected gains after repowering.
It can thus be used to technically qualify a site’s eligibility and highlight the economic interest of an intervention.
The duration of a repowering project varies according to the nature of the project. On average, it takes between 6 and 9 months, from the preliminary study to recommissioning of the plant. It all depends on whether the operator intends to install a new power plant on the roof space freed up during repowering.
When you work with Feedgy, you benefit from genuine growth leverage, without having to mobilize additional resources. Feedgy’s technical and commercial expertise is integrated into every stage of a project: from design to implementation, a dedicated contact ensures personalized follow-up, while local network coordinators facilitate exchanges and speed up decision-making in the field.
Repowering projects are unique. That’s why Feedgy has developed processes tailored to the specifics of each installation, to anticipate unforeseen circumstances and provide our customers with the best possible support. Thanks to this expertise, we have already completed over 400 projects in France.
You must have plants in your customer portfolio that are eligible for repowering, i.e. photovoltaic installations commissioned before 2015 and over 70 kWp.
After filling in the contact form, the Feedgy team sets up an initial meeting to find out more about your projects. You will then be invited to propose a repowering service to your customers. If business is brought in, the partnership contract is signed.
Please note that the partner can choose his area of intervention.
To date, Feedgy has around 50 partners, and over 80 are in the process of being onboarded. The regions of greatest need are the North-West and South-East.
